After watching a video on how dangerous this “thinspo” (thin inspiration) trend is, i decided to have a look myself. And it was even worse than I imagined, girls saying “I ate 60 calories today, god i’m so fat” and encouraging anorexia, even making it like an actual person “Ana”.
I ALSO found the similar but healthier trend called “fitspo”- Fit inspiration. And after finding a few blogs that I absolutely loved, I’m making a fitspo blog. I’ve been wanting to get in shape for awhile now, I was actually downloading Zumba videos when I discovered it, but I think having actual recipes and inspirational quotes will help me some.
To clarify- I love my body. I am 5’6” and I weigh 160lbs, and I look like I weigh a lot less than that. I have curves, I have an ass and tits and you can only see my hip bones if I’m lying down on my back. I like having something that a guy can grab onto during sex. It took me 19 years of body hating to get to this point, and it feels great. But my body deserves to be healthy. I’ll be tracking my progress in measurements of the waist and hips, rather than weighing myself constantly, which from past experience I know is just frustrating.
Sorry, I started ranting there a bit. ANY way, if you would like to follow my progress, or be inspired yourself, or just see some workout videos and healthy recipes, the URL is-
